New Horizon – I was wondering if you could help me with a problem I'm having with Quarterback. I have a 44meg Syquest drive and a viper Archive 150 tape drive in an external box. I am currently unable to successfully back up the Syquest cartridges to tape — it fails during the verification with "different content" or "corrupt file" error messages. I have no problem backing up either of my internal partitions, nor do I have trouble backing up a small selection of files from the Syquest to a file in ram:. The tape is fine, because I have successfully backed up my main internal partition, erased the tape, and had a syquest fail on the same stretch of tape. I did a set of full backups of my cartridges in March with no problem. Since then I had added a CD-ROM drive to the back of the external box, but I thought that additional device might be part of my problem and I returned things to the way they were previously, but the problem persists. The only other thing that is different is the version of Quarterback. I'm currently using 5.0.4, but I know I've done a couple of updates since then.
