Betty: This seems as agood a place as any to put in my two cents worth… I agree with you, that other platforms have their problems with operating systems and no one really knows what the future will hold for MSDOS, AMIGADOS or the MAC operating system. What we all tend to forget is that we are participants as quinea pigs in a fledgling industry called personal computing. We are the first generation of true home users, and the hardware and asoftware technology continues to improve at ever escalating speeds, making obsolete today what was yesterday state-of-the-art. I wouldn't be surprised if one hundred years from now, this period of time is referred to as "The Computer Revoloution", in much the same way as the turn of the century is called "The Indudstrial Revoloution". The Amiga has only been on the market for six years. I've got socks older than that. The PC is really only ten years old, and already its death toll may have sounded with the IBM/APPLE agreement.
