Their are several ways to get on the Internet. One is through a local university with a computer science department with UNIX machines. Some universities do allow limited public access. Failing that, there are other public nodes available. One of the most popular is UUNET. It offers Internet links, as well as USENET and over 600 megabytes of PD software. There is, of course, a usage fee for this :-). UUNET can be reached at: 3110 Fairview Park Dr. Suite 570-B Falls Church, VA 22042 (703) 876-5050 FAX: (703) 876-5059 (Incidentally, if a friend can get a message through for you, UUNET's Internet domain address for information is info@uunet.uu.net) However, if all you need to do is send e-mail, you may not need the Internet. A UUCP package for the Amiga (available in the public domain) may suit you. And don't neglect CompuServe's own Internet gateway.
