Good heavens, you know this area well. I live in Mississauga, just next door to Toronto. (Less hectic to live in and we've pinched all the big companies, so the city is growing and actually has a balanced budget – thanks to a feisty, female mayor.) I know many people who went to RCA and ditto the U of Guelph. My husband used to work in Guelph and we've spent many happy times there. What brought your daughter to school in Canada? Sad to hear that repeat tourists such as yourself find things too expensive. We need your travel dollars to help our balance of payments! If you found it expensive to travel here, just think what's it's like living here! Our various layers of government have all gone quite mad. Still, I'm content and wouldn't really want to live anywhere else. We must be having the same storm. Don't think we've had 24 inches, but driveway shovelling has been a constant activity around here for the past three days. My kids have been having fun building forts and my husband has gone quite misty-eyed telling them of the (much larger) storms and forts he experienced as a child. Still have forlorn hope I'll see a Toaster soon….. Barbara
