I'm a maid still waiting in the Toaster department. As has become the norm in this whole experience, all parties involved are pointing fingers at each other. Customs is the culprit now, apparently. (Honestly, after all the fuss about the relative merits of free trade — any time I try to move a product over the Canada/U.S. border, in either direction, it has caused me no end of headache.) I have hopes of getting it by week's end. But then, I've said that before. (This Friday marks the 8th week since I ordered it.) Re your reluctant mouse: when mine does that I take it apart and blow out the accumulated pet fur and other unspeakable items that accumulate within this high-precision piece of electronic equipment. But I also find that mice have a lifespan roughly equivalent to their real-life namesakes and frequently curl up their figurative toes and refuse to function. I've gone through more of them than I care to remember over the years. Hope you get it sorted out. Cheers, Barbara
