If that's true, why not produce a WCS that's 2.0 compatible and make it easy for users to switch back and forth between 1.3 and 2.0 (not necessarily nice, but easy). I would think that the other (at least potential) "cash cow" for Commodore is the alliance with the Toaster and that, therefore, they would want to do everything they could to keep that on the "cutting edge" and prevent other non-CBM related development from destroying the Toaster advantage. AmigaDOS 2.0 should be much more stable, so there should be less visits from the GURU that would destroy a potential market's confidence in the product. – via Whap!
