The King of CBM cynisism taking seriously a tounge in cheek comment I made regarding the latest rumors from CBM that 2.0 enhancers won't be made available? <g> Come on, lighten up… Truthfully, one of the things which HAS impressed me about CBM's treatment of the Amiga, is the way in which the OS has remained somewhat (if not mostly) downwardly compatible through its different incarnations. That was a promise that CBM made many years ago, and one which, to their credit, they have lived up to. I think that 2.0 has challenged that committment… and maybe Ali is nervous about releasing ROMS for older machines that will break old software. Besides, if you had parents like CBM, you might WANT to consider yourself an orphan! <g> (oh boy, here we go again…) PS… thanks for the informative articles on networking in INFO… I really enjoyed them.
