Don, It's not like I snap my fingers around here and the editors jump up and down, y'know. Of course, if climbing the corporate ladder was my sole motivation I wouldn't be typing this message now. I would've just deleted my earlier plex and disappeared <g>. One thing to keep in mind through all this, is that CompuServe Magazine works almost six months ahead of publication at times. The orphan computer story, for instance, isn't slated to run until January of 1992. I only mention that because there is more Amiga coverage on the way. There seems to be a greater awareness of the machine at the magazine these days and I think I've had something to do with it. I've gotten a number of small items in the Monitor and Update sections of the magazines as well as the online publication,"What's New." The Amiga is a priority for me. I always try to check the "Amiga Angle" whenever I'm assigned to a new project. That's how I got in hot-water with you guys in the first place <g>. It's clear that the Atari, Amiga and NeXT really don't belong in the "Orphan Computers" story and the section on specialized copmputers has been *OBLITERATED*. I didn't mean to touch a raw nerve when I included them in my original post, I was merely searching for an angle that would allow me to include them. For the record, I intend to suggest a seperate story on "specialized computers," for wont of a better term, such as the Amiga, Atari and NeXT. That does not mean it will be approved. A lot depends on how well such a an idea is presented. So, now that the forum has collectively savaged my fragile ego, I think it behooves you folks to educate me. Fill my mind with Amiga knowledge, because I don't have access to a machine of my own and that makes it kind of hard sometimes… –Vic
