CM>> (It's not the cost I'm worried about … it's the real-estate consumed Well, since you say it doesn't have to be for the Amiga, and you're not worried about price… I saw a board at Comdex last fall that did exactly what you're referring to (I think). The only part I'm not sure of is does it hold in ram, or on disks. It captures video as Fractal images. Holds something like 30 minutes on one 720K floppy. The demo they were showing was Casablanca in B&W (of course), full motion, using about a 5" rectangle in the middle of the screen. Sort of like watching an LCD screen. I wasn't impressed at first until I realized it wsan't a 20 second loop. It also does full screen stuff. However, it's PC only, and the board runs about $50,000. If you're really interested, I'll dig out my Comdex handbook from last year and look it up for you.
