The "Serial-Number" file is generated by copy-protected versions of Sculpt
4D. For things like this, I wish the Amiga had a system somewhere between
the Mac and Windows: a single file that stores system-wide bits of
information like this. Windows uses an ASCII file for this, which takes
too long to parse and modify, and the Mac has machine-readable files in a
single place, too. It bugs me that these programs don't tell you what
they're installing, and then you don't know what to delete or save. I've
tried moving my setup file-by-file to another A2000, and I've never got it
to work right. 🙂
