Ed, I'm sorry for interrupting but why would you possibly be interested in any version of Dr. T's KCS? I own KCS, Music-X, MasterTracks Pro, Bars& Pipes, and Bars&Pipes Professional. In my opinion, KCS is unequivocally the worst sequencer of the lot. Two versions ago, it didn't even support menus. As of one version ago, it didn't support graphic editing. The whole program is a kluge. The interface is obnoxious, especially the PVG and Master Editor in Level II. You have to type in a lot of control sequences,i.e.; <ctrl-,>, <ctrl-.>. I thought that went the way of 8-bit machines. Maybe you're familiar with the program and that's what you like. If not, I just thought I'd offer my opinion. KCS is from the C-64 days. They keep adding features to it so as to keep up with the competition. It wasn't written for a windows, mouse, menu, pointer system from the ground up like the other programs I mentioned. Unless you already know the program, I would suggest you steer clear of it. Dom Fontana
