Aha, I went through this search two months ago. I didn't get an A3000, but instead bought the A2320 enhancer board for the A2000, so I had the same monitor considerations. I finally purchased the CTX International Model 3436. This monitor will scan from 15-38 khz, doing everything the Amiga will need, and can also be used for a Mac or a PC if you expect any such requirements. This monitor can be purchased here in Shopper's Advantage for $407. I also saw it in this month's Computer Shopper for $380. The monitor is a .28 dot pitch by the way.
