#new amigas
I have noticed in the last couple of months the sincere slow down in
postings, new downloads, and general activity in the Amiga forums. I
gather that things are happening on GE*** now. I left GE*** a year or so
ago because I was completely disgusted by the SysOps and the overall lack
of quality reading, lack of Whap!, and lack of speed.
Now here I am in CIS and I find out that Commodore is going to have a
conference on that network and not here? Why? What happened to the
activity here? I stopped by AmigaUser last Sunday at 9:15 pm… there was
not a single soul online to talk too at the scheduled conference time!
Tell me, when was the last big scheduled conference with anyone from
Commodore? I can either conclude one or two things. Either the SysOps
here have slowed down, or I am feeling the effects of summer on CIS. 🙂
Both may have a ring of truth I'll wager.
The most interesting messages of late here have been based around rumors of
a mythical amiga and how non-disclosure prevents any discussion (including
in the very dead closed developer forum) of anything relating to them.
Which certainly I can understand, but gentlemen & gentle ladies, where is
the beef? What am I paying for here?
Come on CIS Sysops, lets see some activity! GET COMMODORE HERE!
And whilst I am flaming a bit, Ben I am tired of the constant nasty
comments about ASDG and Perry. You both have fine products, it serves no
one to see nasty pokes in public here. Frankly it disgusts me. Do I
really have to tell you that if you having nothing good to say, then don't
say anything at all. I'd appreciate a bit of silence about ASDG and Perry.
