My boss just got one of your 14.4 Fax/Modems, and I was able to use the fax just fine, but was unable to connect to your BBS at 9600 BAUD. I have been able to connect at 9600 BAUD with some local BBS, and have had no problems. Unfortunately, when trying to link up to my Amiga 3000 we get 'no joy'. We get the message CONNECT 9600, but nothing else. When I type characters, my boss gets garbage, and when he types I see nothing. I think the problem may be related to my US Robotics WorldPort 9600 BAUD V.32 MNP5 modem. While I have not had ANY problems using it for the last 2 months on both my Amiga AND my AMAX emulator (both through the Amiga Serial port), I would not be surprised if BOTH modems had to be set to some standard state. Unfortunately, the docs for the Supra modem are 70 miles away at my boss' house (he's a video producer, not a hacker like me), and my modem was a hand-me-down that came without documentation (though it has worked flawlessly thus far).
