No, I wasn't absent due to poor health. I am now living in Germany, and telecommunications seem to just move a little more slowly here. (<<– see previous sentence: Understatement of the Year.) CanDo applications do not easily and fully "detach" once they are run from Workbench. It is much better to run CanDo apps from your user-startup rather than from the WB Startup drawer. The Calendar program is looking for a specific text directory, but if not found, all is well anyway. To really understand this, examine the Calendar program with CanDo, or a print-out of the deck. The really good Budget program "demo" has never been finished by us. It is only an example, not a finished product. We are waiting for some industrious person, like yourself, to add the last functions! Good luck. Martin – via Whap!
