So far, I like Director pretty well. I'm using Director 2. The include files are good. It does not seem to me to impose many limits on things like screen size. The string handling is better than another BASIC-like Amiga language I'm familiar with. Apparently, the parameter passing is better, also. But why does this script fail (on my Amiga with 1MB of CHIP RAM)? After it, I've placed a version that does not fail. You will notice by comparing the versions that the problem with the bad version is not screen sizes.
