Dear Keith; I appreciate you answering my letter on July 4. I am using the
message service this time in case anyone else might have a response.
#1 My halfbrite anim that could not CYCLE did in fact have cycling colors
that were not contiguous. Will there be a patch available that will run
DPaintIV anims without restrictions?
#2 I have not been able to load structured fonts. I can do it with other
programs like DPaint and TV*Text but not D2. Maybe it just a matter of how
you write it. Could you check this out?
#3 I asked last time about activating D2 with SMPTE time code. Other than
the JLCooper PPS-2, do you know about other units from Dr. T (Phantom?) or
Sunrise? My application for synchronization is subtitling where in a half
hour program there could be as many as 400 cues. It would be important to
have both a record and playback mode. You would play the video tape and
click a key activating title changes and recording the midi numbers. When
you would make a mistake you could rewind and play the video tape again
activating title changes on its own until at one point you would slip into
record mode where the program would continue title changes and recording
the new numbers. Is there an existing script that does this or could one be
written without much hassle?
#4 Can D2 activate fades done with the SuperGen SG-10?
#5 Is there any source of example scrits from you or other people?
