Skip, IMHO Steve gets lots of questions about Whap! because lots of new users don't read the docs. Whap! is a complex program because it needs to be, but a careful reading of the very good documentation will get a new user going. Let's face it, when the author of a program is as accessable as Steve is, the temptation to ask first and read later is frequently overwhelming and poor old Steve has to answer the same questions over and over again. We've all done it. My definition of a power user is sort of similar to your's. I'd be willing to bet you that the vast majority of users are like myself. Been on CI$ for at least 6 years, regularly monitor and participate in between 3 to 15 forums on a daily basis and use some kind of Whap!-like program to save money on there addiction. You do know that most major computers have Whap!-like equivilants, don't you? IBM is TAPCIS and Mac is Navigator and then there is that kludge that CI$ itself puts out called CIM. Questions are a major way that we learn about computers and the only dumb question is one that remains unasked. …Dave
