Skip, On the little notebook computer I use when travelling and researching, I use DOS5.0. But in any version, I could do the same thing – I just put a little batch file in the root directory that loads any program I want, with whatever parameters it needs. I then put each of the directories in my path commands. I can type the name of any program from any DOS prompt and it will start that program. I like the AMiga much better – but the MS-DOS machines are getting much easier to use. Like the Amiga, one must learn a few things about them to make them easier.
