Steve, Do you have any experience with other controllers? After talking to my dealer this morning, I think I've had it up to my earlobes with Diaquest. Despite the fact that everything I own has Action Animator printed all over it, now they tell me for the one command I need, it'll be an additional $900 on top of the thousands they've already gotten out of me. This adds insult to injury after the fact that they wasted 6 weeks of my time when they recommended the BRS822U which turns out to be a totally nonfunctional deck for animation purposes. I'm just lucky I got my $6500 back. Then there's the software update to run the BRS822U that cost me $16, which dropped more frames than the original software. Then neither version of the software operated the Sony deck that I own. After 3 phone calls, I had to confront them at Siggraph and still make another long distance phone call to California to get the software. Another couple weeks wasted of my time. And as if that isn't enough, they have told me that they monitor this forum, yet instead of responding with a simple answer to anyone, they go ahead and let us struggle, and force people to make a long distance phone call, then wait on hold. So $900 for one goto command after what they've already cost me and charged me, _bull_. I think I might buy someone else's controller, a CD ROM, and maybe a new monitor instead. I would surely think long and hard about doing business with this company. Roger D.
