Wayne: What I meant by "less qualified" was someone who is fairly new to a given application or field of interest. I think input from beginners can be quite useful to a developer. I would also turn down the opportunity to beta-test software that I had no idea how to apply. People with no background or useful interest in an application shouldn't be sought out as beta-testers.
