Betty, At least they know what GEDCOM is now <g>. Everyone in the NYC Genealogy SIG raves about Roots, it never occurred to me it was such a throw back. Of course they're all MS DOS types. People always advise you to "turn off compression and/or error correction" but never give you a clue how.
