Fern, Don't ever hesitate to jump in here and ask questions. The major purpose of this forum is to help people with any kind of problems related to Amigas, and answering questions is the only way we can do that. If you have LHA132.RUN on a floppy disk, and the disk is in df1:, here is what you would do: MAKEDIR DF1:LHA CD DF1:LHA RUN DF1:LHA132.RUN This will unpack the files in the archive into a directory named LHA. Next, look at the directory of the files by just typing: DIR You will see several files, one of which is called simply LHA, and another is LHA.DOC or LHA.TXT (I cannot remember which.) You need to read the .DOC or .TXT file for instructions in use of the program. Copy LHA to your C: directory so it will be handy whenever you need it. Just type: COPY LHA C: Now, whenever you want to unpack a file, make a directory for it, CD to that directory, and then type: LHA -m -x x PATH:FILE.LHA – where PATH tells what disk or directory the packed file is in, and FILE is the name of the .LHA file. If this does not make sense or if you need more help – don't hesitate one bit to jump in. We all want to help. Betty
