Tele-Metropole Inc. of Montreal used the Toaster to cover the federal elections. CFTM graphics producer, Michel Barreire, said that he used to use Topaz all of the time, but now uses the Toaster because he says that Lightwave 3D gives him a MORE profesional look in less time and effort. They currently have 6 Toaster spread throughout the station, from an off-line edit suite to the news department to the computer graphics department. They also use the Toaster on Jepardy, the French version of the U.S. game show and on the Star D'un Soir variety show.
