I have an A500 with 1 meg and an external disk drive. For some time now I have been considering whether to upgrade or wait till I can afford an A2000 (or better) with more ram, hard drive, accelerator and maybe a bridgeboard. As I read reviews and comments about the ICD products intended to upgrade the A500 internally, they seem an attractive way to get the configuration I want without obsoleting what I have (especially since I can't get nearly what I paid for my A500 if I try to sell it). I am looking at their Prima Speed (which, as I understand, includes an accelerator with hard drive controller and hard drive placed internally in the A500 plus their Shuffleboard to make the external drive df0:), their Flicker Free Video 2 (to enhance video), their AdRAM 540 for more ram, and their Kickback (to allow switching between 1.3 and 2.04). I will probably install a Fatter Agnus (1 meg) also, and I plan to get a larger power supply to power it all. I am interested in hearing from anyone who has experience with or knowledge of ICD's products to upgrade the A500. I am particularly interested in any compatibility problems that exist between any of the products. Is there an internal bridgeboard type hardware alternative available for the A500, and if so will it work with these ICD products? With all the other stuff inside the case will there be room for anything else? via Whap! Al Benglen 74615,500
