Don… just a side note… It really bothers me that paper products like telephone directories that have been buried in landfils for forty years are still readable. Things like paper phone books and encyclopedias are, IMHO, an archaic. They are outdated the very moment that they are printed and waste tremendous amounts of natural resources (not to mention that they are expensive to produce and distribute). Such items would be far more useful if the information contained in them were stored electronically and a system of electronic retrieval were available to everyone via cable TV and/or touchtone telephone. We make some lousy choices in our society… and sometimes the good decisions are too long in coming.
