The back side of the NoteBook packaging says…
"NoteBook is a unique product designed for your personal use. It actually
moves the functionality of the paper notebook from your dest to your
Amiga's display.
You can use lined paper, graph paper, blank paper; you can put tabs on the
pages, and you can write or doodle to your heart's content.
Special structured drawing tools make drawing in NoteBook more flexible
and fun than any other Amiga drawing program.
Nothing else comes close to NoteBook!"
…there is also a reasonably detailed features list (18 detailed points))
on the same sheet. So let's quit harping on NoteBooks packaging, saying
thigs like "You can't tell what NoteBook does by the packaging", because
you can, unless you are learning disabled, which would be unfortunate but
not particularly relevant to our mass marketing approach, eh?
Beyond this description, it's hard to compare notebook to anything, since
it is one of the few unique products in the Amiga marketplace. That is
part of the "problem".
