Kevin, I wrote an article about that for AmigaWorld about a year and a half or two years ago. It explained all the differences between the bitmap fonts and color fonts. It was written in a manner quite similar to the bitmap fonts article I did for TRANSACTOR, and which is now available here in our Fonts directory in AmigaUser. I don't remember all the differences without looking them up again, but there is an extra structure for the color, and I believe an extra table or two, in addition to the extra bitplanes. I have a copy of the article on disk, but I don't think I'm free to upload that. I'm not sure AmigaWorld's copyright agreement would let me do that. I looked at some of my stacks of magazines and didn't spot the one. If I remember correctly, it had a cartoon of Mickey Mouse on the front cover. Betty
