#TBC's & Editors
I'm looking to get 2 board level TBC's for the Toaster and am somewhat
overwhelmed by all the choices. Which ones are best? So far I think I've
narrowed things down a bit. My main concern is to get the cleanest video
possible. I'm editing with 3/4" SP decks and would like the TBC to accept the
3/4" dub signal.
The Prime Image TBC/PCB seems to do this. Does anyone have any experience with
it. They also make one with a "Comb Filter" which they call "The Full
Broadcast Level" TBC.
I was already to purchase a Prime Image and them the other day I read an ad
about the Feral Effect TBC which does clean video compression. What's the
story with this one?
On a different note, I'm also looking for an editor for another edit system.
The challenge is mixing a 5800/5850 with an EVO 9800 in an A/B roll
configuration. For an Amiga based system I'm looking at either an Amilink
(pretty expensive) or the Pride PIV-2001 (much cheaper). Any input. I also
Sony has come out with an inexpensive A/B roll editor (not sure what it's
called). Any input on this one? Can trigger Toaster effects.
Thanks for any help.
