[ continuation ] reach of my wallet. I want to save other new Amiga buyers from the same experience. My fondest dream would be to make my Works program both functional enough and solid enough (no bugs) that C= would consider bundling it with all their Amiga 500 and 600 machines so that new Amiga buyers could start using their computers straight out of the box. So that is where I'm coming from, and where I hope I'm headed with this project. That was why I asked several messages back "what Main Stream software would you like to see developed for the Amiga?" Although video productin and animation are fun and exciting they are still Vertical Markets. That is, they are very specialized, and until the Amiga can expand beyond these markets it will never gain the widespread acceptance that the IBM and Mac have enjoyed. I want to build a program that can be useful to ALL Amiga users. That will help the Amiga be perceived (sp?) as a computer that EVERYONE can use, not just a selected few that dabble in the arts.
