Ron: Actually, I really can't say. I already owned all of the MSS modules (Scribble!, Analyze!, Organize!, and Online!. I pretty much abandoned Scribble! for excellence! and PageStream, and dumped Organize! for SuperBase 4. Online! and Analyze! however, I have kept upgraded to their current versions and use both, particularly Analyze!, on a regular basis. I think that MSS did a nice job with Platninum Works. It certainly offers some value for the money (about $99 mail-order), although none of the modules are what you might call 'state-of-the-art'. Scribble! and Online! are easily bested by PD and/or shareware products that cost less. In fact, if I were starting my software collection from scratch as a new user, and I were smart enough to have a CIS account, there is little doubt that I would use the files available here in the AmigaForum(s) to help me decide what types of software and features I really needed. The only exceptions I can think of are in the areas of image processing (ala ImageMaster and AdPro) and DTP (ala PageStream and ProPage). If what Marc really wnats to do is write a top notch integrated productivity pack program that will retail for around $50, I sincerely wish him the best. I'm just not sure that a couple of disks worth of PD/Shareware programs don't currently fill that need where the Amiga is concerned. I'm not a developer or programmer, and Marc obviously has more insight in to what it will take to develop such a package. I hope that he can afford to do it. // Michael \X/ …on AutoPilot
