Marc,
It seems like there are already plenty of good PD/Shareware/Freeware
items that cover all of what you want to do. Memacs will do just about all
you want your WP to do. Backtalk, which I've recently d/led, is a very
respectable Comms program which is freeware _and_ has an Arexx port. I
think I've seen Superbase Personal 2 for around $35. Just a few facts (if
I've blundered on any of my 'facts' please let me know <g>)…
