counting their coins to listen. 🙂 Get my point yet Ben?
Imagemaster is an excellent product and we sell quite a few of them for
your company (and our benefit). Notebook does not offer enough margin to
make it something that we want to mess with. I don't think you understand
the customer base that owns Amiga computers. They will not on average
touch a package like Notebook unless the dealer does take the time to put
the package in the customers hand, then take them to a machine and
demonstrate it. I don't need to tell you that it running in interlace-only
mode does a lot to turn folks off of the product. So who am I to sell
Notebook too? The A3000 customer, who else?
Perfect? Nice, but far from perfect.
As Tim eating my lunch? Not likely. The premise that packaging software
is wrong and is stupid is not supportable at all except by those who are
not in touch with the reality of life in the 'selling' world.
Let me add one thing Ben. I want you to know that I respect you and your
opinions (no matter how wrong they are (grin)). You speak your mind and
say what you think (just as I do). I like that. I don't take your
comments to me personally and I hope you don't take mine personally. I
appreciate your input here on CompuServe and never want it to go away.
