Welcome to the Compuserve Amiga Forums.
Tyment and Telenet are names of communications networks through which you
can access Compuserve, although they are not part of Compuserve itself.
Compuserve also has its own communications network, which is significantly
less expensive in terms of communications surcharges that Tymnet & Telenet,
if you live in an area where there is a local Compuserve access telephone
number.
Communications surcharges are charges that you pay to access the Compuserve
system, and are over and above the connect time charges that you pay to
Compuserve.
