Well, I performed surgery again on the A2000's mouse, changed the
pushbutton switch again with another A1000's right pushbutton. Lifted the
switch up from the circuit board a bit before soldering it in place. Now I
got me a hair trigger left mouse button! It is very light to the touch now,
wonder how long that will last? The A1000 mouse seems better, larger ball,
heavier, the plastic buttons don't have those long prongs that press
against the switch like the 2000 model. I'd like to switch and use one of
them, but after checking a few of the pinouts it appears that the wiring is
different in the socket on the board. Does anyone know if I can just change
the cables with an even swap or do I have to move the pins in the socket?
