I think the issue is quite clear – IP is usable without a HAM-E as a VERY powerful gfx processor. because it's available on BBS's all around the country, telecomm in general, we're put in the rather strange position of having distributed something which could, if generally usable, literally destroy our marketplace. Our solution was to make it unusable without a HAM-E attached; there is no manual lookup, no codewheel, no CP at all. Just a password you enter IF you can see it, which requires a HAM-E be attached.
