I have seen Quicken sell for anywhere between $5 (Special promotional deal)
to $79.95. Im My Humble Opinion, it is absolutely the best finance package
around. We track all of our checking, savings, money market, retirement
funds, investment accounts, loans, mortgage, and monthly budget with it.
We use it to write checks and keep the checkbook balance. Personally, I
would have paid $300 (what I paid for Borland C) for Quicken because of all
the time that it has saved me. I also run all of the business accounting
for Obvious Implementations on it (actually the Accountant does the work
with it). I am also seriously considering looking at CheckFree as an added
product even though we already print checks.
I haven't tried it for inventory or orders (YET), so that side is on your
own, but I do know that they do have some addons for it.
