Thank you for your reply. I have Disksalv – it just recovers files, not repairs them. I downloaded REPAIR.LZH but of all the errors it fixes it doesn't fix mine! Here is more detailed info: GOMF gives Alert 87000008, Dos Library, No General Error, Key Allready Free error. The error occurs consistently when I try to delete the file. LIST says the file is empty. There is no data I need to recover, all I need to do is delete the file and its directory. Any ideas? –Brian Simmons, Denver, Co.
