Chris: I want to use a rewriteable optical, but I haven't heard of any version that has software that lets you look up a specific file and get it… i.e. you end up putting files in volumes on tapes, which you have to go through one at a time to find the latest version of the file… Can you spend a little bit of time telling me more about the directory and file access methodology of a rewriteable optical?
