Checking the specs on the STAC code (I have the programming literature here
for another reason) they get 160KB/SEC decompression 60KB/Sec compression
on a 15Mhz 68000. Their hardware does 2MB/sec Compression 6MB/Sec
decompression. There certainly is a big difference in performance from the
high ends you can get from the drive.
BTW, it's good to see you here Joanne. I was starting to miss talking to
you.
