#DOA IDE Drive
Does anyone know how the fix the problem with the Amiga 4000 when you try
to hook up two different Seagate IDE disk drives? What happens is the
computer will not cold boot (I get the Flying Floppie) but then I can warn
boot it and it works fine. I have the jumpers set for the master/slave
set-up. Do I have to have two of the same drives for IDE to work? Is their
a way to slow down the startup to allow the boot disk to spin up. I tried
this with three different seagate drives. Each drive works fine alone.
Anyone else having this problem and has anyone found a solution?
