Peter,
Sorry unless you add a card cage (Emplant is a zorro II/III card) and
an accelerator (Emplant REQUIRES an 020 or better) you can't use Emplant.
U.U. WILL be releasing a version of emplant for the 1200 that uses the
credit card slot, but that still won't help 500 users.
