Ron, I'm sure there is a solution if I'm willing to put up with extra expense and extra work. Why should I? I doubt Brilliance is all that much more special than DPaint so why should I compromise my efficiency and take on additional expense 'cause someone is under the illusion that this will keep people from pirating th software. All ou gotta do is send the original disks to that company in WI (forgot the name) and they will break it for you for $59. But why should I go through the hassle. Dongles are like the grade school teacher who keeps everyone after school cause he can't figure out who threw the spitball. Its punitive and insulting and in the end probably looses as many sales as they would to piracy. Especially when competing with a similar product with established reputation and no dongle.
