Dale, if I lock the doors when I park my car, I don't assume EVERY person that happens by is a thief. I'm not trying to offend anyone; it just makes good sense to lock the doors. Why presume that Digital Creations or Scala or whomever think you, personally, are a pirate? Like I said, one way to ease these feelings would be to borrow a page from the MS-DOS market, where some dongled high-end programs comes with an upgrade option: Send in a bit more money for a non-dongle version. The company presumes that pirates wouldn't even do that, but it leaves an alternative for people who are honest. True, you have to pay more. But so what? We all already pay more for software because of piracy, just like we all pay more for food or clothes because of shoplifting. — Ron Legro, Milwaukee via AUTOPILOT (the only way to fly)
