#Sbase_Pers_4 HELP
Hi – I've recently received my upgrade to Sbase Personal 4 (from Personal 2)
and am having a problem with printing. My printer is a Panasonic KX-P2123,
which emulates an Epson LQ860. I selected the SB_Epson_LQ.ini printer file in
Sbase's printer setup, and when I send anything to the printer with right
margins set at anything except 0, I get X's printed from the edge of the paper
to the right margin. Also, with the top margin set at 1", I get several lines
of "CRLF" printed at the top of the page. I've also tried the SB_Epson.ini
printer file and the same thing happens. My preferences printer driver is
named EpsonQPlus, and I tried making a copy of the SB_Epson_LQ.ini file and
renaming it to correspond to my Preferences printer, but I get the same
situation. Can anyone suggest a fix for this problem? My printer has a number
of built-in fonts which I'd like to be able to access, and I'd like to be able
to set margins, but at the moment the only Sbase printer driver which works
properly is the PREFS driver. Any help would be appreciated.
The other question I have concerns the example files in the manual tutorials.
I have not been able to find them on the disk or on my hard drive. According
to the manual, these files came on a separate disk. However, when I received
my upgrade, I only received one disk. There are some sample files on it, but
not all the ones referred to in the manual. Can anyone clarify this?
Thanks for any and all help on these two points.
