My question was what was the major differences between the SB16 ASP with the WAVE card and the Turtle beach card that still make the TB card the card to get. I agree that I have gotten a lot of feeling from people that TB is better, but its been very 'qualitative" info. Being an engineer, I'm pretty 'intrackable' about recieving "because I said so" or "it just is" as explainations or reasons. Also, its my impression that the ASP16 w/Wave card is so new, that many people havn't had a good chance to look and compare and therefore are 'defaulting' to the TB board ('if it works don't fix it' kind'a thing). If you have any quantitative points to offer, I would be very appreciative to receive them .. i.e. S/N ratio is XX% better .. or more MIDI channels .. or more digitized sounds .. etc. Thanks for the reply.
