Hmmm…interesting. I, too, would like to see more performance-oriented articles in the trades as oppposed to this "press sheet" style of reportng. Thats why I like pubs like 3rd Dimension and 3D Artist — at least you get some meat-and-potatoes-how-to in them. When I did traditional media, there were "step-by-step" mags that were real good. Computer people can get a lot from this kind of thing, I think. I know that I could, anyway… It would be a shame if the Sanyo unit — with such thoughtful design features — turned out to be seriously lacking in video quality or worksmanship.
