Since I use AutoCAD now I may be prejudiced, but that would be my program of choice. One can do almost anything in 3D with ACAD, which I think makes it very useful for making models to use in 3DS. As an example of using ACAD, I was able to to produce a model of the first and second floors of the light court, and the elevator lobby (in very high detail), of the Rookery (in Chicago) in about 30 hours. I would say about 5-6 hours were "wasted" on mistakes, etc. Bob W.
