#3D Studio help
Just so that you fully understand, using AutoCAD and 3D Studio to
"create realistic materials, renderings, and animations" is not
something that comes easily to anyone, no matter how gifted!
You may notice that there are over 200 messages a DAY here on
CompuServe from people asking all sorts of questions. We have
accomplished artists, film producers, lawyers, architects, and expert
computer programmers. (And a rocket scientist, or is that a mad
scientist, JKJ? <g>)
They all have had (and are still having) their problems creating
realistic animations. That's why we gather here to help each other
achieve a higher plateau of skills to create this art form.
Wherever you are in the program, from true beginner to pure expert,
there is information available on doing it better, or faster, or with
different equipment. We all just try to do it the best we can with
whatever we have to work with.
No one is born being a great 3D Animator, it requires lots of work,
training, reading, study, and experimentation from all of us.
We all share the same goal of getting better with the program.
Everyone's reasons are different for doing this, but the goal is the
same. We invite questions from everybody interested in the program.
Some of us find that we learn as much by answering questions as by
actually using the program!
Please feel free to ask as many questions as you like, we look forward
to answering them. We all have a lot to learn, and it isn't easy for
any of us. Lots of fun, but not easy!
