#Instructor Certification
Some time ago there was a great thread going on here concerning Instructor
Certification. The comments were very useful and informative, and supported the
reason this forum exists: to get feedback on issues and ideas from others.
I am currently putting together a "Steering Committee" on Instructor
Certification, and our first meeting will be on Monday Aug. 16th at CAD Camp. I
have a few goals in mind for the group, but how we achieve them is not clear
(yet). It is our intention to create a process and procedure, similar in policy
to the ACE, that a current or potential AutoCAD Instructor can be "Certified"
to teach AutoCAD.
I am hoping to see more traffic on this issue, in response to this message.
Please understand that we are currently working with a "clean slate", with no
pre-concieved ideas how this should be achieved, so this is your chance to
contribute to the process. Remember, if you don't speak up now, you can't
complain later when it's a "done deal" and didn't come out the way you want.
I am looking forward to carrying a fat pile of messages to the meeting. Please
respond here with your input. Thanks in advance!
